Murphy Law Firm attorney Matt Murphy was recently recognized by the Montana Trial Lawyers’ Association at its 2018-2019 annual convention. Matt Murphy was honored with the MTLA’s Outstanding New Lawyer Award.

In 2005, Thomas J. Murphy was awarded the MTLA’s “Appellate Advocacy Award” for two precedent-setting cases challenging the unconstitutional denial of equal protection for elderly workers and occupational disease claimants. He has also been recognized by WILG as one of the nation’s top 100 injured workers’ attorneys. In addition, he was inducted as a Fellow in the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, the first lawyer in Montana to be invited.

On October 28, 2019, Thomas J. Murphy was one of six attorneys in the United States to receive the prestigious President’s Award from the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group in Santa Barbara, California.
