Attorney Clyde Guilamo is the lawyer that other lawyers go to for advice. He first came to Chicago from New York City in 2004 to attend Northwestern University. He went to law school at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he won awards for representing the school in its national trial team. After graduating law school, Clyde worked as an assistant State's attorney for a decade (2011 to 2021). He handled cases ranging from abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency, and petty traffic, to rapes, robberies, and murder. Clyde transitioned to criminal defense in 2021 and by 2022, he was winning awards for being one of the top 40 criminal defense lawyers in Chicago by both the National Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Black Lawyers Assocication.
