Self-Service Terminals Change The Vehicle Registration Game

The State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles posted an article to their website discussing the new and popular DMV Now Self-Service Terminals. Recently the 100th kiosk was placed inside a Safeway store at 1814 19th Street in Sacramento. According to the article customers are enjoying the convenience these machines are bringing to instantly renew their vehicle registration using the touch-screen terminal. In the last past year, the DMV has expanded its availability from field offices to grocery stores. They can be found at 15 Northern California and 24 Southern California grocery stores, including one at the University of California, Irvine. The machines are aimed towards customers who need their vehicle registration card and license plate tag immediately. They can be used in both English and Spanish. There are plans of expansion so if you do not already have one in your area keep, be patient as they could be in your area soon.
